"I help caregivers like you live better lives while caring for your loved one with dementia. I provide care to your loved one at Mind Matters during the day allowing you time for yourself. My 'Caregiver Education' offers additional resources that provide you knowledge to improve your caregiving experience including my Montessori Dementia Care Class, Dr. Robin's Blog, and a private Caregiver Support Group on Facebook. These resources are designed to fit into your schedule, to provide you access to me so you can ask questions, and are available when you need them. I am here to help you and your loved one with dementia live a better life."

Monthly Dementia Caregiver Support Group
OUR MEETINGS ARE HAPPENING!!
Caregivers can come and discuss their thoughts in a safe space on caregiving and receive invaluable support and knowledge from others with similar circumstances.

Robin Ely, RN, DNP is the owner of Mind Matters LLC. Robin will discuss dementia, dementia care and how to help improve the quality of life for the dementia patient and their family.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Registration:
There is a $35.00 one time registration fee. The hourly rate for all new clients as of June 1, 2024, is $20.00 an hour.
Payment Policy:
Payments may be made via cash or check. You may make your payments monthly.
Questions, Concerns, Compliments, or Suggestions:
Our staff is committed to providing you with the best possible experience. Together we can ensure a safe and healthy environment for seniors. Please keep your contact information up-to-date.
Communication is critical and we need to know of problems or concerns that may arise so that they can be promptly addressed. Please keep the staff informed and don’t hesitate to bring issues to us. You can e-mail us or, use the contact form on the bottom of the contact page.
Inclement Weather Policy:
We will make every effort to remain open during business hours. In the event that travel is unsafe you will be notified by our staff via phone, text, and/or email. An update will also be posted on our Facebook page and on channel 3 NEWS.
Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency, the Mind Matters staff will call 9-1-1 and then immediately attempt to notify an emergency contact.

Groton residents may qualify for free Mind Matters programs:

The Reducing Isolation through Social Engagement (RISE) program is funded through a Town of Groton ARPA grant for residents of Groton who have a dementing illness.

Caregivers can apply for their loved one to come for socialization and recreation free of charge.
