Helping Adults with Dementia
Mind Matters provides day care for adults & seniors affected by dementia and memory loss from Alzheimer’s and other conditions. Our participants enjoy activities tailored to their individual interests and abilities. We believe in offering a nurturing environment and maintaining a small group setting to foster social interaction and maintain high quality care.
Our activities are adapted to meet the needs of each individual and ensure successful engagement. Our clients can participate in various music programs, crafts, exercises, and games designed to stimulate memory recall and concentration.

Mind Matters offers flexible scheduling solutions for caregivers when a loved one is no longer able to be safe alone at home. Our program allows for daytime respite which supports caregivers who are juggling the competing demands associated with being a caregiver and an active member of the community and workforce.
Mind Matters is owned and operated by a registered nurse who obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree focusing on dementia care. Activities are guided by research and are adapted to ensure each client is functioning at their highest level. Caregivers can have peace of mind knowing that their loved one is in a safe, nurturing environment.

OUR MEETINGS ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Caregivers can bring their loved one with dementia and Mind Matters staff will watch them while you attend the session. This is a free service! Please call to let us know you will attend.

Talk Dementia Care with Owner Robin Ely
Host Mind Matters at Your Organization
Robin Ely, RN, DNP is the owner of Mind Matters LLC, an adult day care that offers specialized care for people with dementia in a social setting. Robin will discuss dementia, dementia care and how to help improve the quality of life for the dementia patient and their family.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Registration:
There is a $35.00 one time registration fee. The hourly rate is $15 an hour.
Payment Policy:
Payments may be made via cash or check. You may make your payments weekly or monthly.
Questions, Concerns, Compliments, or Suggestions:
Our staff is committed to providing you with the best possible experience. Together we can ensure a safe and healthy environment for seniors. Please keep your contact information up-to-date.
Communication is critical and we need to know of problems or concerns that may arise so that they can be promptly addressed. Please keep the staff informed and don’t hesitate to bring issues to us. You can e-mail us or, use the contact form on the bottom of the contact page.
Inclement Weather Policy:
We will make every effort to remain open during business hours. In the event that travel is unsafe you will be notified by our staff via phone, text, and/or email.
Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency, the Mind Matters staff will call 9-1-1 and then immediately attempt to notify an emergency contact.
